Florence County connects directly to Michigan's Upper Peninsula — making it one of the few Wisconsin counties where you can ride from Wisconsin into Michigan on the same trip. The 17-acre Fisher Lake ATV Park and the Spread Eagle Barrens offer unique terrain found nowhere else in the region.

Blue Ox Trail System
160 miles of ATV/UTV trails maintained by the Florence County Blue Ox Trail Riders. Trails are signed with state-approved brown and white 6x6 ATV trail signs. System winds through the Spread Eagle Barrens State Natural Area, county and national forests. Open year-round when temperature is below 28°F — closes during spring breakup to prevent erosion.

Nicolet State Trail (Northern Segment)
The northern section of the Nicolet State Trail runs through the western portion of Florence County connecting to Forest and Oconto Counties as well as Michigan.

Fisher Lake ATV Park
A 17-acre dedicated ATV park on the south side of Fisher Lake in the Town of Florence. Designed for riders who want to go off-trail to ride in dirt and mud. One of the few dedicated off-trail ATV parks in northeast Wisconsin.
